Report abuse. I'm sorry to say but this book is just awful. Besides the front cover the content and production value is rock bottom. I'm sure the author knows something about Maya but where was the publishing team, the layout designer, the copy editor, etc.

Also, there are dozens of mistakes where the wrong term is used or there is an obvious grammatical error and garbled sentences. Something's wrong on nearly every other page.

The illustrations are mostly poor and don't always show what's being discussed. The overlaid graphics are inconsistently constructed with crude jagged lines in a computer graphics book! The examples are often too simple, displaying a lack of effort. But the worst problem is that the book is way over priced for such an obviously cheap product.

I definitely do not recommend this book. The cover is nice though.
